Golfing for Gaza

David Knoppert, a Canadian volunteer with Connecting Gaza, is undertaking a powerful act of remembrance this summer. Over the next three to four months, he will hit 50,000 golf balls—one for each Palestinian life stolen by Israel in its ongoing genocide. Recent estimates suggest the true death toll is over 350,000.

These killings—backed by the political support of Western nations, including Canada, the US, and the UK—demand our attention and action. Follow David’s journey as he honours the dead and calls for justice.

As of June 30, 2025, David has hit over 6,500 golf balls. If you donate even 10 cents USD per ball in remembrance, you would have fed one of our Connecting Gaza families for three weeks.

Just two people matching 10 cents each for every ball David hits, helps us sustain a family of five in Gaza every week (~$230 USD per week). These actions link our humanity together. Thank you for being a part of it now and always.
